Frequently Asked Questions

Do you travel for sessions and is there a fee?

All my services with standard pricing are available in Sydney metro areas. There is a travel fee of $50 for shooting locations more than 15km outside of Arncliffe, NSW.

How far in advance should I book a session?

I generally recommend booking your photo session at least one week in advance, this will give us enough time to have pre-consultation to make sure I deliver the best results for you. 

When is the best time to do a Newborn Session?

For newborn photography, I recommend scheduling your photo session about 14 days within the birth of your child. However, don't feel like it's too late if your child is already born, we can work out something beautiful together.

How far into my pregnancy should I book a Maternity Session?

It is recommended taking your maternity photographs between 30 – 36 weeks. This window falls between months 7 and 8 of pregnancy. This is the time when most mothers can still feel comfortable moving forward with an obvious baby bump.

What happens after the booking?

Once we have agreed on a date and package, you will be sent a contract to sign and an invoice. I require a $150 deposit for all sessions to hold the date and the remaining balance is due the day of shooting. You can pay electronically or in cash on the day, whatever suits you best.

How many photos will I receive?

Each of my package comes with a certain number of digital images that you will receive. This comes with no additional cost, they are yours to keep. Prints can be provided with a small additional fee upon request.

How long will it take to receive the photos?

For portrait sessions (individual, family and couples), you can expect to receive the photos within 3-5 business days. For wedding photography, please allow up to 3 weeks to receive all photos.

What happens if I have to reschedule the date?

We understand that life happens! If you need to reschedule for any reason, please try to give us at least 24 hours notice.  We will get in touch with you to reschedule and your deposit will carry over onto the new date.

Can I cancel my photography session?

If you no longer wish to proceed  the photography session once it's confirmed, you may cancel up to 72 hours prior to the photography session. To do so, you must send a written cancellation notice via either email or text message. This means you will  forfeit the initial deposit shoud you cancel the session.

Where and when do the photo sessions take place?

For every session, you have the option to take the photos at the comfort of your own home or at a beautiful location within Sydney. During pre-consultation, we will work together to find dream location at the perfect time (I highly recommend sunset or sunrise for that golden hour effect). I will provide recommendations based on how far you will travel and your preference on the style of the photoshoot.
